The Role of a SOC Analyst at News Corp

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
- 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within SOC or NOC environments.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CEH, Security+, or CySA+ are highly desirable.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, Qradar, ArcSight), endpoint detection and response (CrowdStrike), and security automation platforms (XSOAR).
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
